DK REWARDS – Frequently Asked Questions

How can I join DK Rewards?

Read the Terms & Conditions of the program by clicking here.

Download the DK Rewards app on your iPhone or Android and register or ask at your local participating Donut King store for a DK Rewards card.

If you have downloaded the DK Rewards app, follow the prompts to register.

If you have a physical DK Rewards card, jump online to https://donutking.com.au/dkrewards and register to be able to start earning your beverage rewards!

What do I get when I become a DK Rewards member?

As a DK Rewards member you will receive every 8th DK Coffee or DK Cold Drink. You will also receive a free regular DK coffee or cold drink once you have completed registration. DK Rewards members receive member only benefits, birthday rewards, deals and information about Donut King promotions.

Does it cost to join DK Rewards?

No, it’s free to join!

Do I need to register my DK Rewards membership?

Yes, registration is mandatory to redeem your rewards and claim benefits including your birthday reward. However, you can still accumulate towards your free beverages but can’t redeem until your registration is complete.

If you do not register you are not eligible to redeem awards or benefits offered under the DK Rewards programme.

 

CUSTOMER APP QUESTIONS

How do I download the app?

The DK Reward app is available via the App Store or Google Play. Search for DK Rewards and follow the prompts to download.

How do I join the DK Rewards program through the app?

Easy. Once you have downloaded the app, simply follow the prompts to set up your account. You will be required to provide personal information in order to create your account such an email address and your birthday.

If I have registered via the app, do I need to register online?

No. you can choose to sign up via the app or online. Whichever option suits you best. If you register through the app you will not receive a physical card.

I have a paper DK VIP Card. What happens with this one?

We recommend running out your paper card and claim your free beverage before you start claiming rewards on the new DK Reward program.

How do I redeem my free beverage via the app?

You will receive a notification in the app that you have a free regular DK Coffee or DK Cold Drink waiting for you to redeem. Look for a notification against the Rewards icon.

Do I need to turn on notifications in the app?

We recommend it. As part of the DK Rewards app you will be notified when you have a free DK Coffee or DK Cold Drink, along with any exclusive deals, offers or promotional information.

Will I be able to see how may free coffees I have accumulated?

In the app there is a ‘Hot & cold Beverage Count’ that keeps track of your purchases and how many you have left to go before your next free drink is available. In order to claim your free drink you will need to collect 7 drinks within the same drink category, e.g: If you purchase 4 DK Cold Beverages and 3 DK Coffees you won’t be eligible until you have 7 drinks in either category.

Can I update my details via the app?

You sure can. Go to the ‘My Account’ section and follow the prompts to update your details where necessary.

I have deleted the app, are my details lost?

It’s all good. Simply download and reinstall the app again and sign in to view your details. Any information is saved against your account details.

Will I accumulate a free beverage with the purchase of any other Donut King hot drink such as a Hot Chocolate?

Yes, any DK Coffee or Hot Beverage, or Donut King cold beverage will count towards your 8th free DK Drink.

I have forgotten to show my DK Rewards app at the start of the transaction. Can I still accumulate rewards?

Unfortunately, the app needs to be presented at the beginning of the transaction for rewards to be accumulated.

 

CUSTOMER CARD FAQs

 

My partner and I share the same physical DK Rewards card. Can we have the same rewards account on our phone?

Unfortunately, DK Rewards can only be added to one account number. Each app has their own unique account and cannot be duplicated to any other device.

What if I do not want to register online?

If you do not register online you will not be able to be part of the DK Rewards program and receive your free beverages, birthday beverage and free beverage upon registration.

What happens if I have lost my card and it has not been registered?

Unfortunately, you will need to sign up again with a new card.

Do I need to swipe my card when I buy a DK Coffee or DK Cold Beverage? 

Yes, present your DK Rewards card or present your DK Rewards App before your transaction is complete to ensure you accumulate your purchase.

If I purchase two DK drinks in one purchase do these count towards my FREE beverage?

Yes absolutely! Customers who purchase more than one DK Drink in one transaction can use these towards their 8th drink free.

Do I have to use my FREE drink at the time I receive it, or can I accumulate them?

It is recommended that you claim your free DK Coffee or DK Cold Drink on your next visit to get the best use of our DK Rewards program.

Will I accumulate a free beverage with the purchase of any other Donut King hot drink such as a Hot Chocolate?

Yes, any DK Coffee or Hot Beverage, or Donut King cold beverage will count towards your 8th free DK Drink.

If I usually purchase a large coffee will I receive my free drink the same size?

The standard size for the free beverage is a regular.

I have a Seniors Card. Can I use it in conjunction with my DK Rewards card?

No. Seniors Card cannot be used with the DK Rewards card.

When do I get my free birthday drink?

The FREE birthday beverage is of regular size and is available to customers who provide their birthday upon registration. You will receive your birthday reward 7 days before your birthday. Your birthday reward will be valid for one month.

Will I accumulate rewards on purchases such as bottled drinks and energy drinks?

No, the DK Rewards program is only valid on DK Coffee and DK Cold Drinks such as milkshakes.

If I have multiple free DK beverages on my account, can I use them in one transaction?

It is recommended that once you have a free beverage reward you enjoy it to make the most of the DK Rewards program. However, if you do have one or two free coffees saved you may use them at the discretion of your local Donut King store.

I’ve lost my card, what do I do?

You must notify Donut King immediately if your DKRP card or Smart Phone has been lost or stolen by email dkrewards@donutking.com.au or telephone (1800 067 619) to the Donut King Marketing Team.

If your card and or smart phone has been lost, stolen or damaged:

DK Rewards will not accrue once you have reported a DKRP app and/or card as lost or stolen to Donut King, until a replacement card / app has been activated and issued.

Donut King may issue you with a replacement DK Rewards Card with a new identification number.

Can I remove myself from marketing emails?

Yes, you can. However by doing so you will not be notified of any free rewards, benefits or upcoming promotions.

Can I use my DK Rewards at any Donut King?

Yes, you are able to claim your free regular cold drink or regular coffee at any participating Donut King store.

Do my points expire?

FREE loyalty coffees or cold drinks will be available on your account for up to 12 months; they can be used at any time up until this date before they expire. It is recommended that you use your free beverage on your next visit to ensure you reap the benefits of the DK Rewards Program. 

What can I redeem?

After you have purchased 7 DK Coffees or DK Cold Beverages, your 8th one will be on us! The standard size for a free coffee or cold drink as part of the rewards program is a regular size.

How do I check my beverage count balance?

Registered Members can view the beverage count acquired on their Donut King Rewards Program Account at any time by visiting the ‘Card’ section of their DKRP APP or by visiting www.donutking.com.au/dkrewards and entering your valid login details.

How do I cancel my DK Rewards membership?

If you wish to cancel your membership, please email dkrewards@donutking.com.au or telephone Donut King. Membership may be cancelled or refused to individuals by Donut King at its sole discretion.

Where Membership has been cancelled or termination (either at the request of the Member or discretion of Donut King):

all Donut King Rewards that have not been redeemed will be automatically forfeited and cancelled.

You will not be eligible to earn DK Rewards or participate in Other Benefits or Promotions that require Membership from the date of cancellation.

The DK Rewards card is to be returned to Donut King within fourteen (14) days (only applicable to DK Rewards card holders) where requested by Donut King.

I have registered online but have forgotten my password. What shall I do?

No problem. Simply head to www.donutking.com.au/dkrewards and click ‘forgot my password’. You will be sent an email with further instructions.
